I always struggle at this time of year. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it - I just find it difficult.No one feels like doing any work - the holidays are mere days away. Half the class are already taking an early vacation and the course has been covered. The kids that are still here have just been watching DVDs all day and crave mental stimulation -- time for Mr C's 20 things you can do with scrabble.
Number 20 in 2o things you can do with scrabble is actually play scrabble itself. I leave it until last because it's always a little depressing when the teacher gets beaten by a twelve year old.
